Evaluation and Review

In order to evaluate the impact of all interventions carried out through the IMPROVE™ programme it is necessary to start at the planning phase and identify what the specific aims are of the intervention, for whom, how success will be measured and on what time scales - for this purpose the IMPROVE™ framework employs a story boarding approach which has been adapted from work carried out by 'nefe' on impact evaluation. Using this approach, immediately following the input phase, it is necessary to evaluate the process/implementation. Output is then evaluated in terms of measures and audience feedback in order to be able to review and refine at this stage. It is then essential to evaluate at the key times planned in order to measure the impact of the intervention/input.
