The IMPROVE™ framework for Academy and School Improvement has been designed with the belief that all young people deserve to be successful and become world class learners. In the endeavour to provide a world class educational environment, Academies and Schools working under the IMPROVE™ framework share a common purpose - to ensure sustainable school improvement and promote high standards of achievement.

Through this structured framework of intervention the goal is to ensure that all Academies and Schools working within this partnership become high performing organisations as quickly as possible.

I + T (EI x SL2) = HPO

Leadership under the IMPROVE™ framework is considered to be most effective when built using the following:

I = knowledge, understanding and use of the IMPROVE™ framework, including its associated policies, practices and procedures.

T = willingness to embrace and proactively embed Trust into the culture of the organisation.

EI = use of the Energy Index tool to develop a positive working environment.

SL2 = understanding and modelling of Ken Blanchard's Situational Leadership model.

HPO = High Performing Organisations.
